Privacy notice
Effective from 10 October 2026.
This notice explains what happens to personal information when you visit clevercrocs.com or email us. The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or advertising trackers and has no forms. We only hold what you choose to send us by email.
Who we are
Clever Crocs is made by MP Labs Ltd, which is the controller of the personal information described here. Our company details are at the end of this notice.
For anything about privacy, email [email protected].
When you visit this website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It has no forms and no accounts, and it doesn't load anything from other companies: no embedded videos, fonts or scripts.
Like every website, it can't be delivered without some technical information. When your browser asks for a page, our hosting provider (Render) and our network and security provider (Cloudflare) receive your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and your browser's description of itself. They use it to deliver the site and protect it from attacks and misuse, and keep it in their logs for a limited period under their own policies. We don't use these logs to identify visitors or build profiles.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is secure.
When you email us
If you email [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. Our email runs on Google Workspace. We use your message only to reply to you and deal with what you asked, which is our legitimate interest, or to meet a legal obligation if you're using your privacy rights.
We delete enquiry emails 24 months after our last reply, unless we need to keep one longer for a legal reason.
Who else handles information
We use these providers, who handle information on our behalf and under contract with us:
- Render, which hosts the website;
- Cloudflare, which runs our domain and protects the website;
- Google, through Google Workspace, for our email.
Some of them process information outside the UK, including in the United States. When they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We never sell personal information or share it for advertising.
YouTube and other services
Our videos are on YouTube, and links to YouTube and any other social media we add take you to services run by other companies. Once you follow a link, their privacy policies apply, not this one. Our videos are set as made for kids on YouTube.
Children
This website is written for parents and carers, not for children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or stop using it. To do any of these, email [email protected]. We'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to sort out your concern first.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
